Why do some people “get Art” or think they do, or at least try, and Others “just don’t”?
What is the differentiating factor to how some people’s brains attempt to understand and connect with others on a subconscious level?
Who am I to judge Art to be Marcel DuChamp’s urinal, or fall in love with Claude Monet’s Waterlilies over Frida Kahlo’s self-reflective portraits?
Art is about finding yourself, seeing something new or thinking about it in a unique way, through another person’s mind’s eye.
Just creating a simple, blue line next to an orange circle can remind you of a childhood memory.
Isn’t it crazy that someone has imagined yellow dragons swimming under the sea with purple monkeys, and they brought that idea to life on paper or in a sculpture?
Human movement and sound has created full-blown dramas with actors dancing and singing, creating new sparks of synapse in your brain.
One day, a piece of leather is just a hyde and the next, it is a satchel with zippers, straps and usefulness.
